Mindfulness has become such a thrown around word, but what doe sit really mean. Mindfulness refers to the conscious action of acknowledging and fully experiencing what is happening in a given moment. It is also an extremely helpful practice to adopt for your overall health; it can be specifically helpful with anxiety and stress. I am newish to the term mindfulness, but have been practicing it without knowing for years. You may be the same way, and not even realize that some of the small things you do are mindfulness techniques. But if you are interested in delving into mindfulness more I highly recommend these ten simple mindfulness habits to adopt, and quickly see how much they start to impact and change your life for the better.
