Over the past few months I have been trying to get back to being more diligent with my skin care regiment. Because of this I have been trying new products and giving some products second chances to see how my skin likes or doesn’t like them now; since our skin can change very easily due to age, environmental factors, and even what we eat. One of the products that I have reintroduced to my skin, since getting months ago, were two Laneige masks, specifically the Multiberry Yogurt Repairing Mask and the Water Sleeping Mask. Laneige is a Korean skin care brand that has been taking the US market by storm, and I completely understand why because their products are incredible.
The Water Sleeping Mask is a ridiculously moisturizing gel mask that you apply before bed and leave on overnight, and then rinse off in the morning. It is very light weight and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any oily residue. It has a really beautiful light floral scent that isn’t too overwhelming or harsh on sensitive skin. I find that it leaves my skin feeling smooth and very moisturized. Actually it is kind of funny because I can tell when my skin is in extra need for moisture because as soon as I apply this it is like my skin immediately tries to drink up as much of it as it can get, but hey to me that is a sign that it works.
The Multiberry Yogurt Mask is a creamy consistency that legitimately smells like berry yogurt, but not in a sickly or gross way. You apply the mask and leave it on for 5-10 minutes before washing it off to reveal the results underneath. I find that it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and very soothed. The creamy and soothing nature would probably be great for those with sensitive skin or redness because it can help to calm down those areas of the skin.
I cannot recommend these masks enough for all skin types, and I look forward to trying out more Laneige products and keeping y’all up to date on them. If you have ever tried either of these masks or any other Laneige products I would love to hear what you think of them.
