I hope you all are having an amazing week, and enjoying some good weather outside. Today I wanted to take some time to share a little bit more random bits about myself, more specifically some of my guilty pleasures. Now I should be honest and say that even though these are guilty pleasures if I am being honest I really don’t feel that guilty about them. I mean I like what I like, and who doesn’t want things in their life that make them feel better. For the most part I think I am a pretty simple person when it comes to my secret guilty pleasures. You want to win my heart anything with caramel will probably do the trick. I swear the level of my addiction has reached unhealthy proportions, but alas I shall never give it up. Ironically there are only two food type items on this list, and the other is more of a guilty pleasure combination. Some people are sweet and salty people, but I am a hot and cold combo kind of girl, more accurately anything sweet that has that combo, like pie and ice cream or grilled peaches with whipped cream. By the way if you haven’t tried grilling peaches you are seriously missing out they are incredible. What better way to enjoy some sweet treats than by cuddling up under your favorite cozy blanket and binge watching some of your most loved television shows or reading a good book. Well that brings me to number three and four on this list, and they are binge watching television and movies and any fluffy blanket. I am a huge movie and television junkie so anytime that I can sit down and enjoy watching them is a great day for me. Now add in a good cozy blanket, and I am one happy camper. I swear I must have the weirdest collection of blankets known to mankind. If it is fluffy, cozy, or any other word to describe comfortable sign me up. As far as I am concerned there is almost nothing better than huddling up under a cozy blanket or quilt and enjoying the day. My last guilt pleasure satisfies my need for nature and the outdoors, and that is long drives in the middle of nowhere. One of my favorite things to do is just pile into the car and drive down some back road with no planned destination, and just see where I end up. Now it doesn’t hurt that my sense of direction when driving is less than adequate, but nevertheless I love it; there is something very cathartic about driving down a quiet road with no one else around, and just taking in the day. Maybe that sounds weird to some of you, but considering I am the farthest thing from a city girl it makes sense.
