I don’t know about you, but I am a huge tea drinker; maybe it is the Southern in me or maybe it is just because I like cozy drinks, who knows. But nevertheless my tea-drinking obsession seems to have grown over the past several years. I am sure my friends would say I am just becoming more of a little old lady, but if you are a fellow tea drinker then you will understand my obsession. I wanted to share with you lovelies some of my favorite teas and give you a little glimpse into my somewhat unique coffee mug collection, because yes I collect interesting coffee mugs. If you are a tea drinker or even if you haven’t been before but are interested then I highly recommend each of these teas as a great tea to try.
- Traditional Medicinals Digestive Aid
This is a spicy ginger based tea that is supposedly designed to help ease digestive problems like nausea. I firmly swear by this tea for anyone with an upset stomach, it really is amazing. I have suffice it to say a less that nice digestive system so this has been a life saver for me, and to be honest at first I didn’t think it would do anything, but I can say it definitely helps.
- Bigelow Green Tea
My favorite kind of tea is hands down green tea, so I have tried many over my life. The Bigelow teas are all, at least all that I have tried, really delicious and potent (in a good way). I highly recommend this as a staple tea, and a great decaf green tea option for anyone interested in green tea (it has great health benefits)
- Twinnings English Breakfast Tea
This is one of the few caffeinated teas that I drink, but it is truly a great pick me up in the morning, especially if you are a non-coffee drinker but still need some caffeine to get you going in the morning. It is a strong, fuller bodied tea that is very refreshing.
- Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger
If you are a fruity tea lover then I highly recommend any of the Celestial Seasonings fruit teas, but I am especially partial to the Lemon Zinger. It is a sweet, refreshing, a little tart, and almost bright tasting tea. I love this one especially in the morning or as a midday pick me up to keep me going and awake. Can you say 3pm slump? Interestingly it is also a really pretty deep pink color, which I wasn’t expecting, and was a nice surprise.
- Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Honey
This may me a more traditional tea when it comes to what people think of when they think of tea because it has a chamomile and honey undertone. It is very calming and relaxing, which is great if you really are trying to use it at nighttime to help you be able to fall asleep. It was surprising to me that it was also has a really subtle sweetness that I think helps cut through some of the earthiness that can often be found in more flowery teas, and that is something that I really appreciate. I highly recommend this tea to help with stress and just as a general way to soothe yourself and calm down.
- Tazo Wild Sweet Orange
Again I am a huge fruity tea fan, and this may actually be my favorite. It is a sweet, but not sickly by any means, and refreshing orange flavored tea that is super soothing and relaxing tea. I think this is a great starter tea if someone is interested in trying a new tea, but may be more hesitant of some of the herby or spicy teas because while it is very flavorful it isn’t overpowering.
