With Fall creeping in most of us with start to enjoy the cooler weather, and cozying up our homes and lives. For me that means candles. Lots and lots of candles. I legitimately have a huge box of candles just waiting to be pulled out and enjoyed. Now I don’t know if y’all are candle aficionados like I am, but if you are I wanted to go ahead, and share some of my favorite candles with all of you. Now I should preface with most of my favorite candles are from Bath and Body Works, no I am not sponsored by them, I just really love the scents and quality and firmly believe they are well worth the money.
- Bath and Body Works Winter
Winter is described as a combination of winter woods, clementine, and pine needles. Every time I smell it it makes me think of Christmas with a slight citrus fruit undertone, but guys if you are a Christmas scent person you will love this one. I mean there is a reason it is so popular; it is literally all of the scents of the holidays rolled up into a candle.
- Bath and Body Works Tis the Season
This is another perfect Christmas time scent. I think of it as the spicier more cinnamon meets apple cider version of Winter. It is described as having notes of red apple, green pine, and golden cider. If you love Christmas scent this is one of the top ones I would recommend (I will not say how may of these or any of the ones on the list I have because you will totally judge me).
- Bath and Body Works Leaves
Leaves is described as a collection of golden nectar, red apple, and spiced berries, and oh sweet goodness is it amazing. Leaves is by far either my favorite or second favorite Bath and Body Works candle. To me it smells like a crisp warm scent with spicy and fruity notes. It is the perfect Fall scent without being too over powering.
- Bath and Body Works Flannel
Oh Flannel where do I begin, how I love you so. Bath and Body Works describes Flannel as a combination of autumn air, bergamot, heirloom mahogany, and soft musk. But I am going to be real with y’all here this smells like straight up MAN! This is the perfect man musk meets your boyfriend’s cologne kind of scent so I highly recommend it if you are into that kind of thing, which I am with no shame at all.
- Bath and Body Works Eucalyptus Mint
I honestly never would have tried this candle if it weren’t for one of my friends. She swears by the lotion version of this scent, and I guess I was finally worn down by the scent because I went out and got the candle of it. They describe it as fresh eucalyptus combines with sweet spearmint, lemon peel, and clary sage. This is one of those scents that is really hard for me to describe but it smells like an earthy kind of minty scent.
- Bath and Body Works Rose Water and Ivy
This is by far probably the most different on this list, as you can probably tell I kind of like a lot of the same scents. It is described as soft rose petals, English ivy, and soft musk. Honestly I think that is a perfect description. It is a super fresh and crisp rose scent with a level of depth I assume comes from the musk. If you are the kind of person who likes rose scents, but hates when they seem too artificial you may want to give this one a shot.
- Rewined Riesling
This is the only non-Bath and Body Works candle on this list so I am saving it for last. Rewined makes their candles inside of the bottom half of old wine bottles, how cool is that. My favorite of their scent is Riesling, which smells oddly similar to Love Spell by Victoria Secret is you like that scent. They describe it as pear, juicy tropical fruits, ripe citrus, honey, and floral essence. What I smell the most is definitely the fruity floral aspect especially the pear, but I think it smells and burns beautifully.
