I don’t know what it is, but there is something about this time of year when it is still Winter, but almost Spring where it seems that so many people are walking around in a slump. I don’t know if it is something in the weather, the time of the year, or what but it is definitely something that I have noticed, and what to address because the fact is that you don’t have to stay in that slump. Because the truth is being in a slump sucks, but there are ways to get out of it, and start living your best life again, so take stock of these three simple tricks for getting out of a slump.
Address The Slump
Step number one is the address the slump. You have to address where the slump is coming from, and why you are feeling it. If you don’t know why you are feeling the way you are feeling then you will never be able to get out of it. You have to actually take time to register where the feelings are coming from.
Step one leads us to step two, and that is to take stock of your feelings. You have to actually take stock of the feelings that you are having. Feeling your feelings is the first step to actually being able to release them, and move forward. If you don’t take the time to address your emotions you can’t work through them, so feel what you are feeling and release the emotion.
Work On Your Mindset
Step number three is where the most action comes into play, and that is to work on your mindset. You need to work on getting yourself to a higher vibe, more abundance and growth focused mindset. Having your mindset in order is the number one way to help pull yourself out of a slump. Now you may be thinking ok Caitlin, but how do I actually work on my mindset. There are a few key things that I recommend to get to a higher vibrational energy state, and they are to use affirmations, practice mindfulness, exercise, visual, practice gratitude, be careful of what you feed your mind, and recognize and assess what and who you let into your life. These techniques when used regularly in connect with an abundance and growth headspace you put yourself in a healthy mindset, which will help you to overcome any slump that comes your way because you will be prepared to handle the slump and the feelings that come along with it.
