I will be the first to admit that I am not the biggest perfume person in the world. I tend to be pretty picky about scents, so I have a hard time finding a fragrance that I actually like, but when I find one that I love I commit to a lifelong relationship with it (haha but actually).
This is one of the few mists or sprays that I have, and I always come back to it. Victoria’s Secret describes its top notes as cherry blossom and peach, but to me it doesn’t really smell like that. It definitely has a fruity scent, but it’s almost like a “grown-up” fruity floral if you could call it that. It is much more mature and rich of a fruity floral, which I love because sometimes I think fragrances like that can go too sweet and young. It is also one of the few mists I think actually lasts pretty much all day, which is great.
Bright Crystal is one of the first more expensive perfumes I fell in love with, and boy did I fall hard. Versace describes the scent as “a fresh, sensual blend of refreshing chilled yuzu and pomegranate mingled with soothing blossoms of peony, magnolia, and lotus flower, warmed with notes of musk and amber”. Now if I am being honest I could not tell you what chilled yuzu smells like, but I know I like it. In my opinion it is a sexy more sensual floral with the lightness of a fruity fragrance, giving it the best of both worlds.
Guys where do I even begin with this perfume. It is probably one of the single most beautiful things I have ever smelled in my life. It’s also the truest rose fragrance I have found. No joke it is like lying in a field of the freshest most fragrant roses on a perfect spring day. Which makes sense because it is a blend of multiple species of roses including rose centifolia which is a hundred-petaled rose from Grasse, France. I mean come on does that not sound like heaven in a bottle. Every time I smell it or wear it I feel 10x better. It has this beautiful rich yet lighthearted quality to it that just makes you feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. And yes that is cheesy but guys believe me it is incredible, and absolutely worth the price tag.
I would love to hear some of your favorite perfumes, so feel free to message me or share this post.
