Now I want to start by first putting out there that I am a nosey as hell person. I will be totally honest, I am, but it is something I am working on. One of the things I love most in the world is finding out how other people spend their day, or what a day in their life looks like, whether through blogging or via Youtube videos. Additionally I know that many of you have questions about what it is exactly that I do, especially what the day to day life of a coach looks like so I wanted to pull back the curtain a bit, and fill you in on what my day to day life looks like.
I am up and out of bed no later than 7:30 each week day, so that I can make the most of the day. I am a huge night owl, but I do find that getting up early helps me be more productive and get more done, so I tend to wake up no later than 7:30. But if I am being honest some mornings I am up by 5:30, it honestly depends on how much I have to get done in the day.
By 8:00 am I am ready for the day. I find it so important when you are working from home to get up and get dressed, and ready for the day as if you were working outside of the home. I am not saying you have to look dressed to the 9s or have a full face of makeup done, but getting yourself in the headspace of it’s now time to work is so important. Next I make sure to eat breakfast every morning, so that I can start the day off right.
9:00 am is the start to my work day, at least according to my Google Calendar, if I am being honest sometimes I start a little earlier or a little later depending on what has happened in the day thus far. My morning of work normally starts with posting and checking social media. I am a huge proponent of sharing content along my social media channels, and in Facebook groups. I tend to schedule client calls in the morning when I can, but that just depends on the day and how many prospective client calls I have. On this particular day I also had an interview on a podcast, which was so exciting! I am a huge podcast fan, so being able to be interviewed on one was a big accomplishment for me, and a huge honor. Towards the afternoon I tend to take any client calls that I couldn’t fit in in the morning. Because I am on the East Coast, sometimes I have to work with people in other timezones, and that requires me taking the call in the afternoon. Lately I have also been spending my afternoons working on a secret project hehehe, which you will eventually learn about, but that has been taking quite a bit of my time too.
I hope you enjoyed this glimpse into my day to day life, and that it gave you a better sense of what my days look like. If you are ever interested in getting to know me better, and what it is I really do feel free to reach out, and we can chat about how I can help you.
