Oh my dears, negative thoughts are pesky little fiends. I myself have and still do deal with negative thoughts, and they are not something I really like talking about but I want to share with you because this is a place of honesty. Through my own personal development journey I have had to develop ways or learn ways to deal with these negative thoughts, so today I wanted to share with you four tactics you can use to stop negative thoughts. I truly hope that these tactics can help you when it comes to combating those negative thoughts, and living a more positive and healthy life.
- Say it’s not true: when negative thoughts come up tell yourself that they are not true- give yourself reasons that those negative thoughts aren’t true
- Shrinking: visual the image of the thought shrinking until it disappears
- Visualization: visual something positive because your brain doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not
- Deep breathing: practice 10 minutes of deep breathing
